For more than 25 years, the Construction sector of Orascom Development Company carried out ALL in House construction works in ALL projects:

  1. Egypt: El Gouna, the flagship project in the red sea coast, Taba Heights in Sinai, Makadi Resort in Makadi – Hurghada and Haram City in Cairo.

  2. Various destinations around the world: Sifa, Salalah Beach and Al Soda Island in Oman, Lustica bay in Montenegro and Chbika in Morocco.

In house construction sector covered a broad spectrum of construction projects and related activities such as:

  1. Hotels: More than 30 Hotels in El Gouna, Taba, Makady in Egypt and Sifa, Salalah in Oman.

  2. Marinas: 2 Marinas in El Gouna, 1 Marina in Sifa, 1 Marina in Salalah, 1Marina in Montenegro and 1 Marina in Morocco (Including Break Waters).

  3. Universities, Schools, Hospitals & Medical centers in ElGouna & Taba Egypt.

  4. Wide variety of Real-estate in All Orascom Destinations (Villas, Town Houses, Apartments, Studios etc…).

  5. Golf Courses in El Gouna & Taba in Egypt & Sifa in Oman and Lustica in Montenegro.

Starting 2010 Orascom Development decided to establish Red Sea Construction as a standalone entity to handle all construction works inside Orascom Development; while modifying its mandate to source construction works with selective clients out of the Orascom Development circle, hence becoming a Standalone Company utilizing its unique, extensive experience, talents and well trained staff of more than 1500 members in the open market.

Since this date Red Sea Construction carried out a lot of construction works such as but not limited to:

  • El-Gouna, Makadi & Soma bay hotels, real estate, lagoons & infrastructure.

  • El-Forsan 5 star Hotel (307 rooms), Club & mall at Ismailia.

  • Zewail City for Science & Technology student campus (under construction).

  • Governmental Ministerial Buildings (BUA: 178,000 m2) (under construction).

  • COC- CCC (BUA: 144,900 m2) (under construction).

  • Latin District Project at Alamin (BUA: 620,617 m2) (under construction).
